HOTEL INTERNAL AUDITOR
Job Scope:
Job description:
- Conduct regular audits of hotel revenue, cash receipts, payments, purchases, inventory and payroll.
- Review compliance with company policies, procedures and internal controls.
- Verify supporting documents and identify control weaknesses, irregularities and potential fraud.
- Conduct surprise cash counts, stock counts and operational audits.
- Prepare audit reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
- A degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Auditing or Finance.
- Relevant experience in internal auditing, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills.
- High levels of integrity, independence and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel between hotel locations as required.
